Singer/songwriter Darla Zuhdi has opened in concert for legends Willie Nelson and Wayne Newton. Famed singer Buddy Greco, with over 67 albums, has written about Darla that he, "loves to hear her sing!"
In August, 2010, Darla headlined in a benefit concert for the Kramer School of Nursing at Oklahoma City University. Reviews for Darla’s performance were phenomenal. "Darla Z wows audience...The incredible Darla Z sang songs from the 30s, 40s and 50s. She brought her band from Vegas...she could have topped the best of the Big Band singers." Oklahoma City Friday, 8/13/10. "A little bit torch singer, but mostly jazzy, Darla Z sailed through the decades’ greatest hits and her audience was certainly on board."
Darla also performs regularly in Las Vegas. In December, 2007, Darla was interviewed on KUNV radio. Darla’s hour long radio interview was broadcast on KUNV on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. During the interview, Darla sang live two original songs. Darla has played to packed houses in Las Vegas at Sam's Town and South Point Casinos. During an appearance at Sam's Town in Las Vegas, Darla appeared on the same show with the legendary singer Steve Lawrence. On July 15, 2010, Darla sang before a sold out audience at South Point Casino and her performance was broadcast world wide on Stay Tuned America. Over the past few years, Darla has sung the National Anthem before sporting events in Oklahoma.
Legendary band leader Bob Rozario refers to Darla as "The Voice." Rozario, of Las Vegas, Nevada, is the conductor, pianist, and arranger of all Darla's songs, including the songs on her CD, All About Love. Rozario was Bobby Darin’s musical conductor, arranger and pianist for years. Rozario has also worked with Donny and Marie Osmond, Tony Orlando, Vic Damone and many other musical greats.
Darla is also a published author of the beloved and well known Cat Detectives series for children. Darla’s first book, Tale of a Christmas Angel was published in December, 2000. Since that time, three additional books have been published in her series. www.darlaz.com

According to Where Magazine, Las Vegas, Nevada, Wayne Newton has never had an opening act. Darla Z was Wayne's first opening act in his over 40 years in show business!

During her appearance at Sam's Town in Las Vegas on August 7, 2008, Darla appeared on The Dennis Bono Show with the legendary singer Steve Lawrence.
An hour interview with Darla was broadcast New Year's Eve in Las Vegas, December 31, 2007, on KUNV 91.5 FM. During the interview, Darla sang live two original songs and songs from her CD were broadcast. Darla’s band on her CD consists of musicians which are legends in their own right. Bob Rozario, of Las Vegas, Nevada, is the conductor, pianist, and arranger of her songs on her CD, All About Love. Rozario is best known for his work with legendary Bobby Darin where he served as Darin’s musical conductor, arranger and pianist for years.
Over the past couple of years, Darla has sung her version of God Bless America and the National Anthem before sold-out audiences at boxing events at Remington Park Casino, Cox Convention Center, and other venues.
